The Adult Learning Center wants to say THANK YOU to our school board members. We appreciate all that you do!
Students Celebrate Cultural Awareness
Students at the School District's Parent Education Program (at Crosswell Elementary) celebrated Cultural Awareness on Tuesday, December 15th. During the program, students reported on their home countries or a country of their choice. Following the program, students and staff had a "Feast of the Nations," where students shared foods from their home countries.
Hands-On Geometry Class
Students in Ms. Brumfield's morning GED class at the Adult Learning Center had fun while learning about geometry.

Adult Students Graduate
Because of the high number of summer students earning a GED or Diploma since the June graduation, the Adult Learning Center had a Fall Graduation ceremony Thursday, September 3, 2009 in the John T. Simpson auditorium. Superintendent Dr. Henry Hunt welcomed the graduates and guests, and Dr. David Stout, Director of Adult Education for the state of SC, was the guest speaker. Congratulations to these adult students and their families!
